This years NWKTC Carpentry house features cement based siding on the entire exterior along with white cedar trim, while on the inside an open floor plan with two secondary bedrooms and a full master suite including separate shower and tubs unit and a massive 10’ x 8’ walk-in closet await you.  All cabinets through the house are custom built with a cherry finish with solid maple drawers and feature many extras in the kitchen including built in trash can, cutting boards, pots and pans drawers, and lots of roll-out trays.  Though out the house you will find in shop hand made trim with extra detail to the head casings.  As always all this is built atop a solid single span I-joist floor system to eliminate joints and squeaking floors.

1920 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, with complete master suite, and a 32’ by 26’ great room

Floor system:
12” full span I-joists, redwood sill, 6” by 12” main beam, and ¾” tounge and groove sub floor

Walls:
All exterior walls are 2” by 6”, with house wrap, vapor barrier, and cement siding creating a R-25 wall system

Roof system
Full span trussed dutch hip roof, 4/12 pitch, and covered with a 30 year heritage shingle creating a R-40 roof system

Interior finish
All hand crafted trim and cabinetry with a variety of counter tops, 5/8” fire rated sheet rock ceilings, and all sheet rock is held with screws not nails
