Tech Expo

This will be a two day open house complete with tours, departmental demonstrations, financial aid, scholarship, and admissions sessions! It will be held on Tuesday, November 13th and Wednesday, November 14th. We are asking that everyone from Kansas attend on the 13th and other states on the 14th. However, if that date doesn't work best for you, please let us know, and we will accommodate your needs.

The schedule for both days is as follows:

8:00-8:20am MT	Registration of Guests in the Student Union Cafeteria
8:20-8:30	Welcome - Kenneth A. Clouse, President
8:30-9:00	Guided Campus Tours
9:00-9:30	1st Choice Departmental Tour
9:30-10:00	2nd Choice Departmental Tour
9:30-10:30	NWKTC Updates - Counselors, Principals, & Teachers
10:00-10:30	"Money, Money, Money - Get the Facts" (Two 30 Minute Sessions)
10:30-11:00	Financial Aid & Scholarships Information --Assembly Room
10:00-10:30	"Put Your Hands on a Future" (Two 30 Minute Sessions)
10:30-11:00	Admissions & Housing Information --Lyons Rooms
11:00-11:30	Departmental Demonstrations

We will also be completing Honors Scholarship Interviews. These will be scheduled as you arrive. To be an applicant, students must have a 3.2 or higher cumulative GPA and be recommended by their high school counselor. They must apply by November 1, 2007, and also attend Tech Expo 2007 and interview with members of the scholarship committee. The scholarship is awarded on November 14th and the applicant must be officially enrolled by December 31st.
